ADEL—Mr. Cabot Hunter of 605 N. Parrish Ave. in Adel passed away Saturday morning at the Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel after a long illness.
He was born in Lowndes County and had lived here most of his life. He was a veteran of World War I.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie H. Hunter, Adel; one son, Dr. Russell Acree, and one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lucy Acree, Adel; three grandchildren, Dawn, Rusty and Randy Acree; and one great-grandson, David Keck; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the graveside at Lake Park Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Sandlin, Pastor of Lake Park Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
