Mrs. Louella Chase
Camden: Mrs. Louella Chase, 85, 15 Union St., died Apr 30 1946, in a Rome Hospital where she had been confined since last Thursday. She had been confined to her home for the last six years and in bed most of the time.
She was born in Westdale Apr. 8, 1861, a daughter of Benson and Emily Kenton Kenfield. When a child she moved to the town of Florence where she married John C. Chase on Feb 1, 1881. About 30 years ago they moved to Camden where Mr Chase died Nov 14, 1924. He was a Civil War Veteran.
She was a member of the Camden Methodist Church, the Central Asbury Circle and the Skillen Relief Corps, Rome; also a former member of the Florence Grange.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Charles E. Chase, Cincinnati, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs William Finch, Florence; Mrs George Dill, Lima N.Y.; Mrs Robert Darrow, Rome, and Mrs Herbert Quinn Detroit; nine grandchildren and one brother, William J. Kenfield, Camden; three nieces and a nephew.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the J Floyd Smith Funeral Home, the Rev W. H. Bradley, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
