Sidney D. Villere went to the Lord on April 3, 2009, at the age of 90. Sid was a retired Major with the U. S. Air Force. He was in the CBI Theater (WWII) for most of his career, and the Korean War. He is survived by his son Jacquere Villere. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Sid was a proud member of the Alzafar Shiners Association. He was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corps, The Roustabouts, and Past President of the Rod & Gun Club from 1985 to 1987.
