Mrs. Edra Daniels "BeBe" Bennett, 65, a resident of 1909 G St., died early today after a short illness.

She had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 46 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church.

She was a registered nurse and had practiced locally for several years but most recently was a bookkeeper for Bennett Electric Service.

She is survived by her husband, J.T. Bennett of Brunswick; a daughter, Mrs. BeBe Sue Browning of Brunswick; two grandchildren, Shane and Shawn Browning, both of Brunswick; a sister, Mrs. Polly Williams of Cedartown; two brothers, Paul and Sam Daniels of Dawson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. Hugh Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Pat Klyce, Bud Strickland, Buck Thompson, Jack Gleaton, Bill Anderson, J.B. Braddock, Allen Dowling, and A.L. Brewer.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Crisco Hunting Club, Members and their husbands of the Joy Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church, Dr. J.L. Hunt, Dr. John Smith, Dr. Hurley Jones, Dr. J.L. Owens, Jr., O.V. Shaw, Charles H. Crews, Frank Ratcliffe, John Kaufman, Tommy Hunter, Lacy Griner, Dick Zell, Henry Fernandes, W.T. Livingston, A.M. Drury, Jr., Percy Ricks, Don Minix, Alvin Young, Danny Brockington, C.C. Hope, Lamont Schell, Carl Kimberl, Jr., Steve Manley, Dr. Otis Hendrix.

The body will remain in the chapel of the funeral home and will be placed in the church an hour prior to services.
