Bruce P. Fitzgerald, 72, of 603 Ohio, Walkerton, died at 3:15 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was retired from the Walkerton Post Office where he worked as a postal clerk. He was born on June 30, 1907, in Walkerton and had lived here all his life.
On Aug. 29, 1929, in South Bend, he married Flossie Gardner, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James Capek of Walkerton; a son, Dallas of Glendale, Ariz., and five grandchildren.
The Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton, is in charge of arrangements.
