Hazel Mary Bales, daughter of Asa A. and Lula May Austin Lee of Alton, Mo., was born July 9, 1926 at Beech Grove, Ark. and departed this life in St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Mo., on April 18, 1969, at the age of 42 years, nine months and nine days.
She was united in marriage to Franklin W. Bales at Couch, Mo., August 7, 1946 and to this union two children were born.
Surviving are her husband Franklin W. Bales of the home, Alton, Mo., one daughter Mrs. Judith McKay of Beebe, Ark., one son Ronald of the home at Alton, Mo.; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Asa A. Lee of Alton, Mo.; four sisters Mildred Cacciapaglia, Rockford, Ill., Pauline Woodruff, Fenton, Mo., Betty Leslie, Winona, Mo., Janice Lee, Winona, Mo.; three brothers Richard Lee, High Ridge, Mo., Irvin Lee Dittmer, Mo., Gary Lee, Alton, Mo., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Hazel was a member of the Royal Oak Free Will Baptist church. We feel our loss is Heaven's gain.
