Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Sister Sherlock was a Dominican Sister for 78 years. Locally, she taught at Sacred Heart, St. Michael, St. Ignatius and Santa Teresita elementary schools as well as Sacred Heart and St. Michael high schools in Los Angeles. She also taught at St. Catherine Military School in Anaheim, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in La Cañada/Flintridge and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Santa Barbara.
In addition, Sister Sherlock was supervisor of the art program for Dominican Sisters' schools for several years. Survivors include a brother, Donald Sherlock, and a sister, Rita Harth.
