In September 1784, Hannah was married to Abraham Tyler. They were the parents of Timothy, Abraham 1787-1876, Hannah 1789-1876, Thomas abt 1790 in Richmond-, Jedidah 1791-1888, James S. 1793-1869, and Noah 1799-1883.
Hannah Stevens Tyler was the earliest burial in Hill Cemetery. She died of smallpox. Her husband Abraham died about 6 months later also died of smallpox. They left several young children. Hannah's brother Uzziel cared for them after their parents death.
