Shirley Wright-Coltart, the wife of Dennis A. Coltart, Jr was born on Kodiak Island, Alaska to Jack Wake Wright and Carol Miller Wright. Shirley, graduated from Northwest High School in Indianapolis Indiana where she was a member of the marching band. She also graduated from the Indiana University School of Nursing. A registered nurse Shirley was employed by Riley Hospital Pediatric ICU, Indiana University Newborn Unit, Wishard Newborn Unit, St.Vincent Special Care Nursery and in the Cath Lab at St.Vincent Hospital; Hendricks County Regional Hospital I.V. Team; and finally as a Certified Neonatal Research Nurse for Riley Childrens'Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, she volunteered her time to the 2004 post Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts in New Orleans. Shirley was a member of the Red Hats and Purple Chaps Equestrian Association and was involved in parades and other equestrian events. Shirley was extremely kind and thoughtfull to animals having owned several horses, dogs, cats, exoctic birds, rabbits and other sundry animals. Shirley was also very involved with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts, music and dancing, especially with her husband. She is preceded in death by her father, stepmother Beverly Wright and a young son J.R. She is survived by her children, Kim Graham, Jaime (Dustin)Garrison; Leia (David)Smith; Jarrett Wright-Fuzesi; and Amy Marie Coltart. Several grandchildren; James and Amber Graham, Logan and Lanie Garrison, Connor, Landin & Ian Smith; Braylon Wright-Fuzesi & Lane Wright-Fuzesi. Also a brother Dr. David Wright of Wichitaw, Kansas.
