Services for the couple will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Emken-Linton funeral home in Texas City. The Rev. H. M. Lewis, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, will officiate.
Mrs. Ackley is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Grice of Joyce, La.; four brothers, James E. Grice of Elkridge, Maryland, A. J. Grice of Dallas and W. C. and Bobby H. Grice of Winnfield, La.; and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Henderson of Oak Ridge, Oregon, and Mrs. Mildred Helfin and Mrs. Eleanor Prescott of Texas City.
Mr. Ackley, 27, a World War II veteran, was a salesman for the Carnation Milk Co. in Texas City.
He is survived by his parents, Paul Ackley of Alvin and Mrs. Myrtle Spiller of Texas City.
Burial will be in Galveston Memorial Park.
