Florence D. Brown (Polley) in her 88th year passed away on February 17, 2009 in Stony Brook. Beloved wife of the late Archie W. Brown. Loving mother of Priscilla Rosenthal (Alan) of Sayville, NY, Virginia Gruver (Clyde) of Binghamton, NY and Carol Robbins (Stephen) of Torrance, CA. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Angela Rosenthal, David and Jennifer Rosenthal, Melissa Gruver, Claudine and Jason LaMann, Erika and Greg Burgess and Stephanie Robbins and great-grandmother of Ryan, Morgan and Annabelle Rosenthal. Dear sister to Priscilla Bittner and Mary Ann White. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cremated remains interred at Calverton National Cemetery.
