Kathleen was the daughter of Fredrick and Frankie May (Adams) Thranert. She married James Everett Ludiker about 1924 in Texas. Children were Margie Fay, Homer Edwin, and Richard Leon. Kathleen later married Earl V. Babcock.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Babcock was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident.
She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors: Son, Homer Ludiker of North Richland Hills; daughter, Margie Sasnett of Huntsville, Ala; three sisters, Nina King of Fort Worth and Helen Dorough and Fern Brown, both of California, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
