Oliver Adle, age 17 years, was enumerated June 28, 1860, at Butte, Sutter County, California, with W. Adle, 59.

Oliver Adle (sic) was enrolled and mustered-in as Private, Co. E, 1st California Infantry, by First Lieutenant John Kellogg at Presidio of San Francisco, California, August 26, 1861. At enlistment he was described as age 19 years, that he was born in Muscatine County, Iowa, and his occupation was Farmer. Private Adel mustered-out, due to the expiration of his term of service, at Los Pinos, New Mexico Territory, August 31, 1864.
