Betsey was born 14 June 1769, daughter of Captain Nathaniel and Mary Grimhall Odiorne. She died 4 April 1832.
Their children, all born New Hampshire, were Nathaniel 1793, Lorrin 1796, Betsey, 1807, Erastus 1799 (died 1803), Nancy 1801 (died 1813), and Alanson 1803 (died 1812).

In the 1850 census of Unity she Polly Way, 76, listed as living in residence of Harvey Sanborn, 36, Melinda, 27, Helen 4, at Unity. She died 15 October 1859, age 84, at Unity, New Hampshire.
His will left $25 a year to his wife and the other income from his estate to his three surviving children; the estate to go to their heirs.
