Funeral services for Sally Barlow, 87, of Edgewood, were held at 1 p.m., March 6, at Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood with Rev. Mike Cline officiating.

The burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Mrs. Barlow passed away March 2, 2009, in Grapevine.

She was born November 12, 1921, in Wills Point, to Jess and Ada Herron Brannan. She grew up and graduated from high school in Edgewood. Sally moved back to Edgewood in 1981, after living in numerous places. She was a homemaker and a member of Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Ada Brannan; husband, Gordon Barlow; brother, Boyce Brannan; sister, Chris Whitfield; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Johnson; great grandsons, Thomas Gordon Laux and Landon Walker.

Survivors include her sons, Howard Daniell and wife, Chris of Waldorf, Md. and Robert Barlow and wife, Christy of Sulphur, La.; daughter, Wanda Shoemake and husband, David of Bedford; sister, Louise Barlow of Dallas; brother, Gene Brannan and wife, Celia of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
