Mrs. Esther Adams, age 89 of Four Oaks, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Wake Medical Center.
She was born on 10/14/1929 to the late Jasper M. and Annie Webb Massengill.
Funeral will be on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cashwell and Rev. Billy Nowell officiating. Burial will be in the Faith Free Will Baptist Church cemetery.
Surviving family members are daughters, Helen Adams Stewart and husband Don, and Daughter In-Law Lillian Massengill. Grandchildren are, Laura Lee Barnes, Lynn M. Keene, David Dewayne Massengill, Robert R. Massengill, James Robert Byrd, Douglas Q. Byrd, Brandy Byrd Spearman. Great-grandchildren are, Megan Rae Massengill, Aaron Richard Massengill, Tyler Lynn Small, Carmen Jo Keene, Cameron Joseph Keene, Heather Byrd, Ashley Jordan Byrd, Johnathan Thompson, Caroline Leigh Barefoot, Jamie Summer Barefoot, Garrett Byrd, Logan Byrd, Brinkley Dey Spearman, and Briley Rey Spearman.
Preceded in death by her parents, and husband, David "John" Adams, son, Gilbert Massengill, and granddaughter, Angela Byrd Barefoot.
