Chris was preceded in death by his parents John Lane and Mary Adele Robert and his brother, Jeffrey Lane Robert.
Chris was raised in North Hollywood, Ca. and loved to travel having gone to Europe in 1976. His interest included playing his banjo, guitar, harmonica and the piano. Even as a young man, Chris was very talented musically. He loved to perform with his friends and several local bands.
Chris eventually moved to Apple Valley, Ca in 1997. He earned his A+ Certification in Computer Technology and in 2000, he began to work for Barstow Unified School District as a Computer Technician where he will be greatly missed by his co-workers and many friends.
Chris is survived by his longtime fiancee and true love, Linde Caravella who had been caring for him since October of 2008. He is also survived by his sister, Cari Martin; nephews, Justin,Jesse and Colton Martin; several aunts, uncles and cousins along with a lot of friends and co-workers who will miss him terribly.
Viewing was held at 10 am on Thursday, March 12th 2009 with a memorial service following at 11 am at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary located at 24000 Waalew Road in Apple Valley, Ca. Internment will be at San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, Ca. at a later time.
