Born June 9, 1943, in Ash Hill, daughter of the late Glen and Geneva Wicks Sisco, she lived in Puxico most of her life. A 1960 graduate of Puxico High School, she graduated in 1992 from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. She had worked as a hair dresser, teacher and for 17 years in area post offices during which time she was postmaster of the Sturdivant Post Office. A former member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church near Puxico, she was a member of the Puxico First Baptist Church.
On Feb. 3, 1962, at Ash Hill, she married Jerry Crisel who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Angie Crisel, and Steven and Amy Crisel; three sisters, Sue Elledge, Glenda Riggins and Kay Vester; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Crisel.
Visitation was held at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
Services were conducted at the First Baptist Church in Puxico with the Revs. Buzz Brown and Wiley McGhee of Puxico officiating.
Burial followed in the Puxico Cemetery.
