Death of Mrs. J.M. Smith
Mrs. Celestine Smith, who was wife of J.M. Smith, passed away at the family home, 726 North Summit Street, last night at 9:30 o'clock. The deceased was aged 75 years and she had been in poor health for some months past. Besides the husband she leaves several grown children to mourn her loss. The family has resided here for a number of years and are well known here. The friends of Mrs. Smith will learn with regret of her death.
Funeral services are to be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence, conducted by Rev. G.W. McQuiddy. Interment will be made in the Hackney cemetery north of the city. The body is in charge of the Smith-Grant Funeral Home.
