Dale M. Carnahan, 18, of Poolesville, passed away suddenly Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009.
He was the son of Brian and Cathy (Lippy) Carnahan of Poolesville.
Surviving besides his parents is one sister, Kelsey Carnahan; grandparents, Anna Marie Lippy, Richard and Louise Carnahan, and Dorothy Miller.
Dale was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Richard Lippy and father, Jay Dewey Miller.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 17230 Tom Fox Ave., Poolesville, MD 20837. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the church.
Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
The family suggest donations be made in Dale's name to Poolesville High School Athletics, c/o Fred Swick, athletic director, 17501 W. Willard Road, Poolesville, MD 20837.
