Elisabeth Weiler was one of 11 children born to Peter and Maria (Berg) Weiler in the town of Niedermendig, Kreis Mayen (near Koblenz). She was the wife of Josef Ewald Schulte. The two lived in Duesseldorf, where she eventually passed away. They had no children, but they did have three nieces: Elfriede (Weiler) Gemein, Rosa Maria (Aust) Losee, and Ilse (Weiler) Watrelot. Elisabeth was survived by 3 of her siblings: Kate (Weiler) Moll, Jean Weiler, and Anna Maria (Weiler) Aust. Siblings: Elisabeth, Peter, Maria Magdalena, Therese, August, Wilhelm Friedrich, and Friedrich predeceased her.
