Ruth K. Berrier, 90, of Berry Ridge Road, East Waterford, PA died Tuesday morning March 3, 2009 at the home of her daughter and son-in- law at Mechanicsburg, PA.
Born Dec. 7, 1918 in Tell Twp., Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Blanch (Locke) Linn. She was married to Paul E. Berrier who preceded in death on Feb. 8. 1993.
Mrs. Berrier is survived by a daughter, Lavanda G. Knisely, Mechanicsburg, PA, and two sons, Donald H. Berrier and James E. Berrier, both of East Waterford, PA. An infant daughter, Mary Lena Berrier is deceased.
There are 6 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous step great grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren.
One sister, Lena Berrier, survives of Enola, PA. Five brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Berrier was a lifelong member of the Cross Keys Church of God, East Waterford, PA. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Stewart officiating. Interment will be made in Shade Valley Cemetery, RD, Blairs Mills, PA.
