"Noble Gordon Honey, 74, passed away, March 17, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Graveside services, were March 20, at Stoutland Cemetery.
Mr. Honey was born Sept. 22, 1921, in Stoutland, MO, to John W. & Grace Murphy Honey. On Dec. 23, 1944, he married Forene Calkin. He served in Europe & Korea with the U. S. Army, from 1942-1957. As a young man, he accepted Christ & was a member of Loma Vista Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents & sisters, Marlene Hendrix & Myrna Loy Honey. Surviving are his wife, Florene, of the home, sons, Gordon L. Honey, Ojai, CA. Clinton Richard Honey, Omaha, NE; daughter, Lora Lasswell, Kansas City, MO; brothers, Grenfall Honey, Parkville, MO, Gerald Honey, St. Charles, MO; sisters, Charlene Welfl, Gearing, NE & Lola Sweeney, LaHabra, CA."
