COOPER — Mrs. Gladys E. Jackson of Cooper, died Saturday at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Funeral services were set for Tuesday, March 2, at 2 p.m. in the Delta Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will fol!ow in East Delta Cemetery by Delta Funeral Home.
She was born in Delta County on April 26, 1911, a daughter of John Richard Thomas and Mary Elizabeth McCarty Thomas. On March 26, 1930, she married Darreil B. Jackson. He preceded her in death on July 14,1976.
Survivors include four sons, Richard M. Jackson, of Grand Prairie, Larry O. Jackson, of Quinlan, Leonard B. Jackson, of Grand Prairie and Boyce R. Jackson of Little Elm; two daughters, Mrs. Neva Joyce Smith, of Gilmer and Helen Dian Haels, of Grand Prairie; three brothers, Orville Thomas of Paris, J. R. Thomas of Cooper, Royse Thomas of Greenville; two sisters, Dorothy Jackson, of Cooper and Mrs. Cuba Ballard, of Lake Creek; 17 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
