Daniel R. Beedon, 73, of 1209 Gillett Street, Port Huron, died Wednesday, February 13, 1985 in the Saint Clair County Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born on July 1, 1911 in Marlette and was a Port Huron area resident for the past 31 years. He married Mabel E. Pemberton on April 16, 1954 in Port Huron.

Mr. Beedon retired in 1974 from Burns International Security Services Inc.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Daniel R. Beedon, Jr., both of Port Huron; two daughters, Mrs. John (Roberta) Beeler of Port Huron and Mrs. Harry (Rosalee) Dafoe of Alaska; two stepsons, William Pemberton of Flint and Franklin M. Pemberton of Port Huron; four stepdaughters, Eva Hofeling, Nancy Jackson, and Barbara Post, all of Port Huron, and Mrs. Alan (Betty) Hackett of Detroit; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 16, 1985, in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. The Rev. Michael W. Hurt of Ross Bible Church officiated. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township.
