Aunt Ette was my Mother's sister and always loved kids. She never had any of her own, but most of our pictures showed her and a neice or nephew. She always had from 1 to 3 little dogs to spoil. Her first marriage was to Thomas M. DuBose and they lived in Houston most of the time where she worked for Tennessee Gas. She later married Norman P. Chappell, Sr. They lived in Houston for a short time, later buying a home in Alvin. That is where she died.
