Mrs. Donald (Evelyn Mae "Evie") Anderson, 92, Morris, Illinois, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Sunday, January 25, 2009, at Walnut Grove Village in Morris, Illinois. She was born in Morris in 1916, the daughter of Chester and Mae Hughes Hildy.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from Morris High School with the class of 1934.
Evie married Donald R. Anderson in 1947, enjoying 48 years together in their home on 2nd Avenue in Morris, Illinois.
Evie made her career at Federal Paperboard, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, and traveling with her husband.
Preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Clyde Hildy, Sr. (Charlotte) and Melvin Hildy (Lillian).
Evie is survived by her brother, Willis "Bud" Hildy (Roberta) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and cherished friends.
