SOUTHPORT - Edward Porter Spencer, 70, died at his residence Saturday.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the graveside in Northwood Cemetery with the Rev. John Elder officiating.
He is survived by one son, E.G.Spencer of Wilmington; two daughters, Connie Ellen Spencer of Goldsboro and Mrs. William Gray of Southport, four grandchildren; three brothers, Hugh, Ray and Dillard, all of Southport, one sister, Lena Jones of Charlotte.
Visitations will be at Gilbert's Funeral Home until 12:30 p.m. Monday.
