Julian Langowski was born Oct. 2, 1915, the son of John and Josephine (Gerszewski) Langowski, in Warsaw, N.D., where he attended school. In the 1920s and 1930s, he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Loretta Lunski May 23, 1950, in Ardoch. He worked for Great Northern Railway building bridges. He retired in 1977.
