Lavonia Whigham Harris was born in Blowing Cave, Grady Co., Georgia, to Walter A. & Mary Lou Pipkin Whigham. She married Robert L. "Bob" Harris, 8 Dec 1945 and was a loving wife to Bob for 53 years. They raised three children, Bess, Walter and Julie; have 3 grandchildren, Nikki, Geoffrey and Sarah; and 4 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Aidan and Ainsley.

She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren, as well as, sisters, Millie, Lavelle and Geraldine; and brother, Eldron.

She will perhaps be best remembered by her unselfish and gracious devotion to her family and friends and her chocolate pies.
