Lena Eugenia Day Pritchett, 95, of East Prairie, MO, died Dec. 8, 2003, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 7, 1908, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late John and Rhoda Lee Cooper Day, she lived in the Yellow Dog community of New Madrid County near East Prairie most of her life.
On Jan. 21, 1927, she married Harley Pritchett who preceded her in death on Nov. 6, 1978.
Survivors include: two sons, Flint Menard Pritchett and H.E. "Jack" Pritchett; one daughter, Henrietta Hubbard; one brother, Charlie Day; two grandchildren, Donna Thurman and Stan Hubbard; and six great-grandchildren, Shane Thurman, Josh Thurman, Kaleb Thurman, Talia Thurman, Jessica Hubbard and Bryan Hubbard.
Also preceding her in death were one stepson, Merton Leon Pritchett; one great-granddaughter, Tara Don Lee Thurman; and seven brothers and one sister.
Visitation was at Shelby Funeral Home, where services were scheduled with Berl Britt officiating.
Burial followed in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
