She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Acevedo, father, George Ponce, mother Aurora Ponce,, sister, Modesta Garcia, brother, George Ponce, Jr. , sister, Luisa Fernandez and son, Armando “Sonny” Acevedo.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. Interment will follow funeral services at the Maypearl Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
