Her birth name was Taube or Tova and was later changed to Tillie to be more American. Aunt Tillie signed all her correspondence with me as 'Aunt Tille (Taube/Tova)'.
Tillie and her parents departed Antwerp, Belguim on Apr 19, 1922 bound for Buffalo, New York where other family members had settled.
She married Norman Astor on Feb 14, 1943 in Buffalo, Erie Co, New York. He died in 1947 from an asthma attack.
She married second Conrad Goldman on Jun 27, 1953. They were later divorced.
Aunt Tillie and Uncle Norm had one child.
She was buried on Jan 19, 2009 next to her first husband.
