Mr. Adams, a lifelong resident of Sikes, was the son of Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Adams, pioneer residents of Winn Parish.
Funeral services were held in the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church Friday with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Edward Smith was the officiating minister.
Mr. Adams was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by three brothers, Isiah, Crosby, and Ottis Adams, all of Sikes, and five sisters, Mrs. E. A. Willis and Mrs. Clifford Waggoner of Sikes, Mrs. Nancy Bell Townsend of Marshall, Texas, Mrs. J. A. Williams of Winnfield, and Mrs. C. H. Rose of South Denfield, Mass. His parents, Rev. and Mrs. Adams, also survive.
Pallbearers were LaVaughan Williams, J. B. Willis, Crosby Adams, Jr., J. L. Willis, Leonard Willis, and C. J. Townsend.
Southern Funeral Home had charge of the funeral arrangements.
