He came to Orlando, Fla about 3 years ago from South Carolina and was a professor at the Florida Technological University.
He served in the United States Navy Underwater Demolition Team in World War II and was in the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa.
