AUGUST 8, 1919 – DECEMBER 23, 2008

BELTON, SC

Louise Burden Holliday, age 89, of 215 Woodland Drive, and wife of the late Paul B. Holliday, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood.

Born in the Gluck Community of Anderson on August 8, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Waymon Burden and Lois Elgin Burden. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Belton.

Survivors include her son, Charles B. Holliday and wife, Becky Holliday of Anderson; brother, J.B. Burden and wife, Ruby Burden of Anderson; four grandchildren: Lynne Neipp of Greenwood, Julie Wayne of Advance, NC, Missy Hollingsworth of Belton, and Chrissie Thornton of Palmer, AK; three step grandchildren: Alison Mercado of Anderson, Oliva Baker of Belton, and Justin Fachting of New Port News, VA; and fourteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Moffatt D. Holliday.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 27th, in the Gambrell Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Belton, conducted by the Reverend T. Dale Lynch. Interment will follow in the Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11am on Saturday, at the Church.

The family is at their respective homes.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the SC-Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Boulevard, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621.
