Mabel Anthony, 79, of Oran, MO, died April 12, 2002, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
Born March 19, 1923, at Cloud Switch, TN, daughter of the late Jim and Eva Gordan Poore, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oran and the Morley Order of Eastern Starr 342.
On June 26, 1942, she married Earl Anthony who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by one half brother and one half sister.
Survivors include: two sons, David Anthony and James Anthony; one daughter, Carolyn Jett; one sister, Ruby Earl; one half sister, Phylias Gordon; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran where services were scheduled with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating.
Burial followed in the Forest Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery near Morley.
Pallbearers were: Steve Farrow, Kim Kranawetter, Les Reisenbichler, Christopher Anthony, Patrick Anthony and Joseph Bush.
