Antonio Soto was a Private in the United States Army. He served in Company C of the Porto Rico Provincial Regiment Infantry. He died while in active duty.

He was originally buried in Site 98 of Old Post Cemetery in San Juan, Puerto Rico. On March 31, 1907 he was removed from that cemetery and buried in Section A, Grave 36 of Fort Brooke Post Cemetery in Santurce, Puerto Rico. On January 20, 1960 he was once again transferred to his final resting place, the Puerto Rico National Cemetery in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
