She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Nosenzo Chris, Winona Miles Daniel and her son, John Seay Anthony Pineau. She also leaves behind five grandsons, Kevin, Brian Melissaand Derek Jones and Daniel Melisa and Jason Afton Miles; one granddaughter, Bethany; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husbands Earl Garland Seay and Wilbur D. Leamon USMC-Retd. The family is eternally grateful to Sherri, for her unselfish devotion and loving care given during Elsie's illnesses.
Elsie enjoyed life and being involved in the lives of her family and friends. She was so loved and will be greatly missed. Elsie was born in Widewater and a life long resident of the area and was the last survivor of a large family that included 3 sisters Bell, Josephine, Thelma and 3 brothers John Robert, Gene and Horace.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel, National Museum of the Marine Corps, 18900 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Triangle, VA 22172.
Interment will be private for the immediate family at the family plot in Quantico.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Institute for Cancer Research, 1759 R Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009.
