Edward A. Aeppli, 87, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008.
He was the owner and operator of Aeppli Electric for many years, an avid fisherman and gardener, and a 55-year member of IBEW, Local 676. He was a World War II Veteran that served in the 244th Field Artillery under Patton's Third U.S. Army and earned several medals including a Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jeter Aeppli; son, Eddie Ray Aeppli; and daughter, Kathy Anthony.
Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Dean of Pensacola, Fl.; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Larry Bethune of Jackson, AL.; step-daughters, Diane Capers and Susan Grantham; sister and brother-in-law, Mary "Beansie" and Robert Walters of Arizona; grandchildren, Michael Osban, Don Knowlton, Jr., Deedra Lamy, Christopher Gauthier, Marcel Gauthier, Joshua Anthony, Shannon Anthony, Tammy Aeppli, and Christie Fine; 8 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
