My grandfather... born in Hooglede, West Flanders, Belgium; died in his driveway in Wrenshall, MN, when he was hit by a train (they had train tracks running through their front yard.)

I've heard stories about you and Gramma, and I bet you were a blast. I wish I would have known you. Grampa supposedly built a still for Gramma in the basement. Thus the name of the road they lived on became Alcohol Road in Wrenshall, MN.

There is one more child in addition to those listed below; Clara Ann Matten Schwer Bulfer (b. 9 April 1929) and Morris Matten, both of whom survive.
