Mrs. Alexander was born on March 23, 1907 in Piatt County, a d/o Agusta "Gus" and Etta C. Wright Blacker. She married Frederick G. Alexander on October 31, 1929. He died on January 3, 1966. Surviving are a son, Wayne of Monticello; daughter, Phyllis Perkins, Monticello; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Alexander was a retired secretary of the Monticello United Methodist Church where she was a member. Memorials may be made to the nursing home.
