She married Rudolph Howery in April, 1870 in Toledo, Ohio. Their children:

Rudolph and Mary lived in Eaton County for a while. Mary was born there. Then they move to Ingham Co, where the the rest of their children were born and where they have since resided.
Eight children survive: Mary Hanna, Minnie Baker, Fred, Daisy Wellman, Viva Stid, Cecil, Alice Stid and Miss Nina, who remained at home caring for the feeble parents.
She was predeceased by her parents and her son, William, who died as an infant.
The suddenness of the passing has been a shock not only in the family but to the entire community.
Funeral services were conducted at the home, on Tuesday Afternoon, with Rev. G. W. Maxwell of Mason officiating. The stricken family have the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends in this trying time, and as for Mary, a good woman has entered into rest.
A brother, Grant Cunningham, from Ohio, and a sister from Lansing, were present at the funeral.
