Gladys M. ATKINSON, 50, of McLeansboro died 3:28 p.m. April 1, 1999, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, McLeansboro.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. ATKINSON was born Feb. 24, 1949, in Belle Rive, Jefferson County, a daughter of Aaron and Thelma Marie (CASEY) COLE. March 18, 1966, she married Billie D. ATKINSON, who survives.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with the Rev. Richard McCORMICK officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
Mrs. ATKINSON is survived by her husband, Billie ATKINSON; two sons, Freddy Dean and wife Bonnie ATKINSON of McLeansboro and Teddy and wife Beverly ATKINSON of McLeansboro; one daughter, Jennie HAMMOND of McLeansboro; one brother, Lyndell and wife Carol COLE of Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren, Brianna, Amanda and Kyle ATKINSON.
Mrs. ATKINSON was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother and one infant sister.
She was a member of Belle Rive Missionary Baptist Church.
