Many who knew Joe knew him to be a man who wanted little, but gave much. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Garcia Rodriquez; his father, Ramon Rodriquez; his grandmother, Fedencia V. Garcia; and his brother, Ernest V. Garcia of Norfolk, VA. He is survived by his sister, Lucy Garcia and her husband, Clarence Garcia of Albuquerque; three brothers, Paul V. Garcia of Gallup; Manuel Garcia and his wife, Solia Garcia of Albuquerque; Nate Garcia of California; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM with interment of his ashes immediately following the services at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
