Cecil May was the grandson of Asa William 'A. W.' Ireland and Mary Frances 'Frankie' Hughes Ireland.
Cecil May was predeceased by his sister, Mary Alice Ireland, three months prior to his birth and by his uncle, Cleveline Ireland, approximately four months prior to Cecil May's death. Cecil May's father followed him in death less than six months later. In addition to his parents Cecil May was survived by a sister, Edith Ireland (Malone), and four uncles; John Robert Ireland (Mattie); Joseph S. Ireland (Ollie); Hendrix Ireland (Effie); and George William Ireland (Iva); and two aunts; Stella Ireland Forsythe (Fred); and Allie Ireland Haley (Charles).
Cecil May was buried with his sister, Mary Alice, in Jacksonville Cemetery on Thursday, June 29, 1911.
Cecil May Ireland was my second cousin once removed.
