Otto Aschbrenner, 88, 2008 W. Wausau Ave., died at 7:30 a.m. today at home after an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. E. H. Bertermann officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. The body will be at the Helke West Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Aschbrenner was born May 21, 1876, in the Town of Berlin, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Aschbrenner. He was married July 30, 1904, in the Town of Stettin to Martha Radandt, who survives. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors besides the widow are a son, Ervin, 2604 W. Wausau Ave.; two daughters, Miss Leona Aschbrenner and Mrs. Esther Bellis, both of 202 W. Bridge St.; three brothers, Fred, 703 Werle Ave., Edward, Merced, Calif., and Samuel, Sunny Vale Manor; a sister, Mrs. Fred Poeske, Kerrville, Tex.; 21 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
