Mr. Garvey had been employed since 1966 at Terminal Railroad, a division of Alcoa.
He enjoyed the St. Lawrence River, boating, traveling, carpentry and sports, especially running and walking. He was a member of Ogdensburg Elks Lodge and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
