A memorial service will be held for Pansy "Pat" B. Davis, 89, of North Bend, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Sunset Memorial Park with Pastor Phil Jefferies officiating.

Pat was born July 22, 1919, in Cooston, the daughter of Frank and Violet (Stauff) Demarest. She died Sept. 17, 2008, in North Bend, in the home she and her husband built 60 years ago.

Pat lived all her life in North Bend.

She married Jack E. Davis in 1945, and together they raised four children, Jacalynn, Bruce, Roger and Ralph. Pat worked at Evans Products, The White in North Bend (a ladies dress shop), and the North Bend Presbyterian Church. She and her husband owned and operated Hazen Hardware for a short while.

Pat was active in a garden club, as a Cub Scout leader with her sons, in school and church activities and she loved working in her yard.

Pat is survived by her children, John and Jackie Cannon, Bruce and Donna Davis, Roger and Jill Davis and Ralph Dawn Davis; 17 grandchildren and spouses, Len and Ronda Spencer, Chris and Linda Spencer, Jason and Tara Hood, David Cannon, Mark Cannon and Connie, Kyle and Cheryl Cannon and Connie Kyle, Bruce and Amy Davis, Randy Davis, Geri and Chad Wideman, Kim Hollingsworth, Gabriel Davis, Noah Davis, Robbie and Tiffany Simpson, Matt Davis Mackenzie and Aaron Campbell and Joe and Jennifer Pleuard; 16 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Stephanie, Ashley Spencer, Dakota Spencer, Amanda and Ashley Cronan, Whitney, Terrel and Christian Hood, Kylie Cannon, Bailey and Emma Davis, Brenden Simpson, Carly and Hannah Campbell and Joey Pleuard; two sisters-in-law, Betty and June Demarest; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; infant sister, Neomi; brothers, Victor and Orin Demarest; and her parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of North Bend Chapel, 756-0440.
