E. Pasco Wilson, 56, former State's Attorney for the sixth judicial district, died at his home near Dade City today.
He suffered a heart attack while officiating in Court hear some time ago and was forced to retire, being succeeded by Dewey A. Dye of Bradenton, appointed by Governor Carlton to fill the unexpired term. Wilson had been in failing health since then.
Circuit court now is session will be recessed for Wilson's funeral, the exact date for which has not been set.
Wilson formerly served 12 years as State Attorney for the district comprising Pinellas and Pasco counties. He was a former Pasco county judge and mayor of Dade City.
Surviving are a widow and three sisters, Mrs. James J. Hope and Mrs. Grady Thompson, Tarpon Springs, and Mrs. Rena Rinse, Sanford. A brother, Leslie Wilson, lives at Bradenton.
